after a long day

whew. had co practice from morning till afternoon.

we had a full orchestra practice in the morning. the st. nick's girls were supposed to come today, but they didn't. anyway, xinni, my senior, came back! so we fooled around and have fun. then us committee had to go out for a meeting. it's supposed to last during our 20 minute break. but it dragged on till 11.30. then a little while later went for lunch at 12.

ate lunch with shuning, grace and charmaine. was supposed to eat lunch with tricia they all. but they got hold up in other stuff. so group's pretty small.

oh yeah. wanlin gave us "gao sai" or translated to in "dog's sh*t". ha. she bought it back from bangkok. it's nice. i had one packet at home too. from my dad's last trip to bangkok. and those durian sweets. :)

after lunch, we went back. i fooled around with huiwen they all. then settle down for practice. then we were to play fei tian, our syf song. and jieqin need to go back percussion. i got an extra score. so i went and gave it to her. then liu lao shi asked me what instrument i played in percussion. i go and tell him. hai. make me got dragged to percussion. oh well. i played alright the first time round. horribly the second time. i was too transfixed at my group, pipa, that i lose sense of my turn. argh.

then we had sectionals for the rest of the afternoon. i think i'm a little too harsh on grace. but cannot help it. liu lao shi wanted her to preform in front of the whole orchestra. then in the end didn't. =S make me and her get nervous for nothing.

oh, tricia and rena gave me presents. thanks girls! :)

so i got to borrow my instrument home. and i had a heavy bag full of books (i bought my books for next year today as well), two presents that cannot fit into one plastic bag and my instrument. resolved to take cab back home. it costs $4.30. my god, plus one mroe dollar. actually it's $3.30. isit peak hour at 5.30pm? oh well, what's paid is already paid. and the tazi driver is damn friendly. kept talking to me. and me, being the shy girl you always know. x)
